Make It Obvious (and Compliant)
Design that doesn’t require consumers to jump through hoops to register is an important piece of encouraging enrollment. No one wants to go hunting for registration and more importantly, they likely won’t. Show relevant links to terms of service and other sign-up information right on the sign-up page. This is especially important to comply with the recently implemented EU GDPR regulations. If your brand is in a regulated industry or may attract minors, then insert an “age-gate” on your sign up page to discourage minors from signing up.
