Last week at the Loyalty Expo, we were excited to once again join this fantastic gathering organized by Loyalty 360. This year we had the opportunity to attend both as a sponsor, an exhibitor, and alongside several Stellar clients, including CraftWorks, whose portfolio of restaurants and brewery brands include Gordon Biersch Brewery, Rock Bottom Restaurant and Brewery, and Old Chicago Pizza & Taproom.
Between industry insights, awards, roundtables, announcements, and more, the week offered an engaging snapshot of the future of the loyalty landscape. Here’s a quick recap of this whirlwind week:
Accelerating Loyalty for Restaurants
We were thrilled to officially announce our expanded relationship with CraftWorks, which will now include loyalty and engagement programs for CraftWorks’ entire portfolio of restaurant and brewery brands. Learn more about this exciting new project here.
CraftWorks’ VP of Information Technology, Scott Curry, also shared how marketers at Old Chicago Pizza & Taproom approached the development of the company’s loyalty initiative. In 2017, they successfully transitioned more than 2 million member accounts to the new program with no disruption to guests or staff. By focusing on its unique incentive structure the team was able to create repeat business and increased engagement with its World Beer Tours program.
And the Loyalty360 Award Goes to…
We are continually inspired by the incredible loyalty solutions honored as part of the Loyalty360 Awards. We were excited to once again have a seat on the judges panel this year and see these incredible programs up close. This year’s exceptional programs included the likes of Ally Financial (Technology & Trends), FedEx (Customer Analytics & Data and 360-Degree Award – Brand), Domino’s (Creative Campaign), and Vans (Employee Engagement). These truly phenomenal programs are an inspiration and a reminder of the incredible competitive advantage a strong, differentiated loyalty program can add.
The Expo also introduced the Top 10 Awards this year, which offered, “another opportunity for us to properly acknowledge the companies and people that continue to drive this space forward,” according to Loyalty360 CEO Mark Johnson. We’re proud to share that Stellar was featured as a Top 10 Marketing Team and our own Brad Marg was included as a Top Ten Influential Individual (bravo!).
